Day 7 - The Trip Home

One place I had hoped to stop and see was the Devil's Punchbowl. It is a great rock formation right on the beach. It is best to see at high tide. We visited it on our way out and it was low tide. It is actually what is behind us and below us.

This stuffed animal is "dog". One of the few words Luken says. It was a gift from Uncle Justin and Aunt Brittney. It is now the toy that Luken takes to bed with him. He loves "dog".

As we headed east back into the interior of Oregon, the line of traffic headed to the beach was amazing. It was bumper to bumper for so long and then it was very consistent after that. I could not get a good enough angle for the best picture, but this does give you an idea. It was bumper to bumper for as far as the eye could see. Note to the wise do not head to the Oregon beaches on a Saturday.

We had a fantastic at the beach. It was great to just have some family time with our kids and no outside influences. We are looking forward to doing it again in the future. It is important to never take for granted the time you have with your children.

The Oregon coast is a beautiful place. I would recommend it to anyone wanting time to relax and have some fun.

Our next adventure is school. There will more on that in the future.
