Sammy

Sammy is really developing a funny personality. She loves to try to scary you and play tricks on you. She is also very willing to do funny things. I love it.

Makayla's Birthday Party

This picture is from Makayla on her birthday. Thank you so much, Ange, for finding the Melissa & Doug toys. We got Makayla a set of wooden dolls with magnetic clothes. We bought a set with two knowing that sharing would be in order. Sammy and Makayla each take one to bed with them.

The rest of the picture are from Makayla's birthday party. Here she is with Cousin Ysa. Now Makayla and Ysabelle will be the same age for the next four months. Makayla loves this time of year.

I am not sure what Sam was up to, but she thought she was very funny for doing this face.

I got the girls to help me frost cupcakes. They loved it.
Here was our whole crew of girls - all cousins.

Blowing out her candles.

This picture just gets my funny bone. I had asked Roslynn if I could take her picture several times, but she always told me "No." Finally her dad told her she had to and this is what I get.
I imagine she is thinking, "Okay lady, you got my dad to make me do this. Take the picture." Travis is saying, "I wish my wife was here!"

Makayla had a great party. Thank you all for coming.

Sitting UP

Our little man is sitting up on his own now.

He is also rolling himself back and forth. He has not quite mastered going from his back to his belly, but I know it is coming soon.

You will see Makayla and Luken a lot.

Boots

Grandma Pam gave us a bag of boots and the girls loved trying them on.
They each kept a pair to play in.

Makayla loves her brother. She almost loves getting her picture taken just as much.

Luken is our happy boy. Unless he is hungry or tired, he is an angel.

I am ready for a little whiteness, but I am not sure if I am ready for winter.

Their birthdays run October, November, and December.

This one is turning 5 today.

Double Blessings

Here is my double blessing. They are two years a part, but they do so much together.

These are more photo shoot pictures by Bailee.
Someday I am going to let Bailee work with photo editing software, but I am not ready for her to be on the computer all the time.

Receive those kisses.

Happy Birthday Grandma Phyllis!!!

Happy Birthday, Mom.
I figured seeing the faces you loved would be the best gift of all.

We love you and hope that you have an excellent day. I know having stateside company should help.

Here is the last little one.

Chatting with Mom

Our little Luken can be quite the little chatterbox. He thinks that the car is the place to talk, so most car rides are filled with Luken-talk.

More Makayla & Luken

I had figured out that I can take small videos with our Point & Shoot camera. They are not the best, but they work for those of you who are far away and would like to see our kiddoes. This one is really short, but be looking for more.

Makayla and Luken

Makayla definitely loves her little brother. One of her favorite things is to hold him. This kind of gets some people when they see Mak holding him. She has never dropped him and he does not seem to have a problem with it.

Luken Doing Push Ups

Our little man is getting himself ready for bigger and better things. He takes his daily exercises very seriously.

And he is a major drooler.

Luken Rolling Over

Luken is getting mobile. He is not crawling yet, but he can move himself around.

Because we do not have a video camera, I thought I would show you him rolling over.

He was rather funny. He stayed in each position for a few seconds before continuing on.

Sewing

Our girls have been having sewing lessons with their Grandma Brenda. Here is their first finished project - aprons. As you can see, they were very proud of them. Bailee made one also. She is just not as easy to photograph. She tends to run and hide.

The Party

Great Grandpa & Grandma

Here are a few of the guests at Bailee's birthday party. Of course, Luken was as popular as Bailee.

Grandpa Mike

Uncle Marvin, Uncle Justin, Aunt Brittney

Candle time - I was very disappointed. Some of them were suppose to be sparklers and there was no sparkling goin' on.

Thank you, Grandma for the lovely lemon cake.

Yeah, this is me. I want to know where the double chin came from?!

Money is always welcome.

This was not from us. One of her friends got it for her. We are allowing her to have it and see how things go. I have to admit this is another thing that is wigging me out. Up unto a certain, you are monitoring all of your children's communication with the outside world. You give them a cell phone, let them be on facebook, and you feel like you lose that control.

I am really struggling with take me hands off a bit and just trusting God with Bailee. Pray for me.
