The Girls

These girls were inseparable before Mom and Dad took them to Kenya. When they return for a visit, they stick together like they are glued.

Makayla and Itchiness

Our Makayla has a real issue with itchiness. We have to remove all tags from her clothing because of this. This dress was brought from Kenya by my mom. One of her little girls has taken a liking to the thought of Makayla and she wanted Makayla to have a dress to match her. Makayla appreciated the thought, but not the actual item, as you can see by the look on her face. It was way too itchy.

Baby Shower at Healing Rooms

I have a good friend who I minister with at our local healing rooms. Her name is Jennifer and her son, Judah, was born one day before Luken. In the above picture, she is sitting with her daughter in her lap.

Kathy, the director of the Healing Rooms, gave us a shower together. It was very fun.

Jennifer's Judah

All three of my daughters took turns taking pictures. Most of these are from them.

The sweater above was given to Jennifer by my mom. It comes from Kenya. Luken was given one also. It has a cute hat that goes over the baby's head.

One lady had just returned from Israel and bought each of the boys a Jewish cap called a Kippah.

These are all the girls.

It has been about a month since we last saw Brandi and her girls. This is Bailee with Brandi's oldest, ShaeLyne.

This was the first time that Troy and Dannon had met ShaeLyne and Becca. Dannon is holding Becca.

Catching Up

Just so you know, I have not forgotten you. My life is very full right now. I have my family from Kenya here and my family from Kansas arrives tomorrow. We are so excited to have an opportunity to be all together again.

We have some great events happening over the next week. I am going to get my hair cut with my sister, Randi, which I am very much looking forward to. We are going to have a full-on family picture - 23 people - ranging in age from 7 weeks to, well, older. Then we have my sister, Brittney's wedding. It will be a full week, but fun.

I am also behind, so I am going to try to get posts in that will let you know what has happened so far. Please stick with me.

God Print 2009

God Print is our churches Vacation Bible School. It is a wonderful opportunity for kids to pursue the things they enjoy, make new friends, and get to know Jesus better. I am always impressed by the teachers and helpers and the love they have for the kids that participate.

This year's theme was based on the movie UP. Our pastor, Kevin, is an incredible artist and he airbrushed these two characters.

Sam and Makayla had a great time this year. This was Makayla's first year and Sam's second. We were gone last year visiting family in Kansas.

You just never know what face you are going to get from Makayla.

Our kids - Bailee was an Adventure Guide this year. Luken is still too young, but he will get his day.
