October Photo Shoot

Most of you know how much our daughter, Bailee, loves to take pictures. She loves to do photo shoots. Here is her most recent one.

These two can be hilarious. They were telling me today that they are best friends. I loved hearing that. There are times when I am not sure if either or both of them are going to make, because they have been fighting so much.

Check out the above picture. I love the look.

"Sisters. Sisters. There were never such devoted sisters." -White Christmas

It is part of a song lyric from the movie and it is not this situation, but it does come to mind when I think of how much Luken's sisters love him.

A Taste of Real Food

Luken has gotten very interested in what we are eating. He is also now four months old. I decided that we would see what he thought of solid food.

He actually did really well. Even though the pictures show him pushing it back out, we got more in him than came out.

But that was just the first time, the couple of other times I gave it to him more came out than went in. I have decided we will wait a bit longer before we try again.

Another Pumpkin

Jessie and Bill Schmidt planted a pumpkin garden this year and they were blessed with very large pumpkins. They felt we should have one.

Jeremy brought it home one night last week and the girls only made it till next day before they wanted to carve it open.

Sad thing was - it had frozen over night and it was now getting soft. We cut it open and let them dig the insides out anyway.

We do not celebrate Halloween, so we were not going to make a jack o' lantern out of it, but we thought we would put a candle in it and set it on the front porch with an "M" cut out.

They all had a lot of fun digging the inside of it out even though portions of it were frozen.

Luken even thought the pumpkin was interesting.

And here is our teenager still willing to get her hands yucky!

Aunt Tami

This is our Aunt Tami. She lives on the west side of Washington state, so we do not get to see her very often. She is one of our favorite people though. It was great to get an opportunity to visit with her recently when she came for a visit.

We love you, Tami!!

Our Anniversary

My wonderful husband and I just celebrate our 8th anniversary. We did not do anything exceptionally specially, but we did get out of town for a day. Just us and the little one.

I only took these two pictures of Jer and Luken while we were at the Olive Garden at lunch. I love the Olive Garden. The valley has a plethora for restaurants. Why not an Olive Garden?

Anyway, Jeremy and I had a great day with a whole lot less talking.

Our Makayla

Here is a great shot of our youngest daughter. She is quite the character. She is very much like me in many ways, but one. She loves to have her picture taken and I have always be adverse to it.

Luken and Gia are not the best of pals yet, but I know they will be.

The Little Man About the House

Here are some more pictures of our Luken, who is growing and changing so fast.

Thank you Grandma Pam for the walker. He is enjoying being upright.

Big sister, Makayla, cannot get enough.

Don't we all love doggy kisses.

And this priceless one is Luken with his cousin, Roslynn. My sister-in-law, Ange, took this and she just caught a timeless moment. She posted it on her blog, but it is private so many of you would not be able to see it there and it so good for a laugh.
