School Project

Bailee's project is a poncho.

This year I am using a history curriculum called "The Mystery of History". It is written by a Christian lady and it includes all biblical things along with other historical items. She wrote it using a time line, so when it is time for Moses, she also includes all the contemporaries around the world at the same time.

I am finding it very fascinating. The girls at this point think they are doing Sunday school. We talked about dinosaurs last week and where they fit in and mentions of them in the Bible. That perked them up a bit.

These pictures are of one of the projects they had. They had to use playdough and create their own animal and name it. They had a great time doing this.

Sam's is an albal.

Makayla's is a googly-eyed gumball.

  1. You'll have to let me know how that goes- that's a curriculum I'm definitely interested in trying. Did any of your kids end up doing the Math U See curriculum?

  2. I really like it. It has projects for each lesson for young children, older elementary to junior high, and then high school. Makayla may not be able to do a lot of the "work", but she enjoys being a part of the class.

I love the way the lady who wrote it sequenced things and did the time line of it.

Bailee is doing Math U See - Pre-algebra. It is going really good so far. We bought our material from ebay and had a bit of a snaffu there, but now we are going and it is seeming to click.
