This is only the second time in the 8 years of our marriage that I have watched the parade. This was the girls' first year, because last year they road on a float in the parade. They would have preferred riding another float, but they enjoyed the candy they received. Luken slept through his first parade experience.We met up with Grandma Brenda, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Amanda, Payton, and Katie, which really made this enjoyable. My sister, Brittney, and her new husband, Justin, also found us.
It was a very long parade. It last almost 2 hours. We stayed to the end though and the girls enjoyed. I reminded Jeremy this is what we do so our children will have good memories of us doing the extras.
