I got to come home yesterday without my catheter. I was very excited about that. I just came home with different types of antibiotics and some pain killers. I am feeling much better, but sore in the abdominal area.
Having the catheter removed was a very different experience. It did not hurt, but it is something I would not want to have to go through again.
Well, I have no pictures from the 4th. I am disappointed by this, but there was not much that I could. We will all remember this was the holiday Mom spent in the hospital.

glad you are home! reading about getting your cath pulled reminded me of some of my better nursing memories... i loved pulling catheters and drains : ) kind of instantly gratifying in some strange way. i don't know. anyway, glad you are home! take it easy!!!
