Goodbye, Mr. Rooney

For any of you who have ever watched 60 Minutes, I am sure you know the name Andy Rooney.  Sadly, he passed away yesterday.  And maybe not so sadly, he was 92 years old.  His wife, of 62 years, died in 2004, maybe he was ready.  

I only write this because I found Mr. Rooney to be thought provoking.  Yes, he was an old guy that was behind the times, but he always seemed to bring everything back to the basics - back to what was really important.  I can only hope that there is someone out there who can pick up the baton and continue the race Mr. Rooney ran.

Now I do want to put a disclaimer on here, some of them are disturbing.  There is some nudity (maternity pictures). You just wanting to ask "Why?  No really, why?".  Most are just entertaining.  That people serious thought it was wise to document some of these occasions with a picture is beyond me.

Pinterest - I love it!!

A couple months ago, I came across Pinterest.  It was mentioned on another blog I was reading and my interest was piqued.  I signed up, but didn't really do anything with it for a few weeks.   As I continued to read these other blogs, they all talked about Pinterest.  I got on there and I love it.  It is all about keeping track of all the interesting ideas, foods, crafts, etc, you find throughout your internet browsing.  If you have never checked it out, do it!
