Independence Day Fireworks

We have been attending the Valley Firework show for years.  This year Jeremy purchased the kids glow in the dark necklaces to have while there.

As you can see, the kids love the fireworks.

And these are for my dad, a very poor substitute but here are some pictures of the fireworks.

We then came home a little a few fireworks of our own.  Jeremy always starts with sparklers.

I didn't take any pictures of his mortars.  I was very tired and cold by then.

Thank you to all of you veterans and active military people for keeping our country an independent one.

Happy 60th, Dad Leister

Yep, today my father turns 60.  

Happy Birthday, Dad.  Thank you for being a father with love and wisdom.  I hope you had a great day.  I made a chocolate peanut butter cake yesterday I wish I had been able to share with you.  I love you.

Camping - Part 2

Okay, part 1 came out too soon, so this is a few days later than I had planned.

Saturday afternoon we packed up and then spent a bit more time on the river before we headed home.
